Yes, posting via Instagram and browsing opportunities will always be free. You can subscribe for £5–£10 per month to receive instant job notifications and share castings, along with other member benefits. You can also post a one-off private ad for £7.

Who runs Assisting Work?

Assisting Work was founded by creative professionals who’ve worked across the industry. The platform has been built for the community, by the community.

How do I share an ad on Assisting Work?

To share a job or opportunity via Assisting Work, simply post your ad on your Instagram stories tagging @assisting_work clearly and we'll repost your story to the community.

What do we repost?

We repost jobs and opportunities in the creative industries that follow our guidelines and include full details from our checklist.

What are the guidelines?

What we can and can't share.

Unpaid Commercial Work
All work for clients, brands, or businesses is considered commercial, not collaborative. Commercial work should always be paid.

Self Promotions / Business Promotions
We only repost work-related opportunities - no ads or promotions.

Unpaid Styling Assistant Work
We don’t repost unpaid styling assistant roles for call-ins or returns unless on-set experience is also being offered.

Unpaid Music Projects
We’re happy to post unpaid music projects, but the artist must be clearly named in the ad.

Inclusivity
We don’t repost ads that show bias based on age, gender, race, or sexuality unless it’s directly relevant to the role - in line with UK and European recruitment laws.

Verification of Previous Work
We’re unable to share ads from accounts with no evidence of previous work.
